23 Nov Wharerata’s annual Offal BBQ
The weather is definitely feeling like summer is just around the corner, and last night was the perfect Summer’s evening for our annual Offal BBQ.
Our guests enjoyed a menu of Homemade brawn with pickles, salad and baguette ~ Chicken liver parfait with chutney and toasted ciabatta ~ BBQ lamb hearts with garlic, lemon and thyme sauce ~ Yakiniku beef tongue skewers with sweet dipping sauce ~ Spicy lamb kidney and liver kebabs with a Harissa beef tripe with spicy chilli sauce and fresh coriander ~ Baby potato salad ~ Greek salad ~ and to finish, Eton Mess and Fresh fruit salad.
