On a lovely warm spring Manawatu evening, we hosted 60 guests last night for our Haha Wines Dinner.
Celebrating the change in seasons with the savoury and luscious Haha Wine, it was a pleasure to have the company’s Managing Director Ashton Ireland with us for the evening.
Grilled spiced chicken, Thai carrot puree, microgreen salad, pickled cucumber paired with 2016 Hawkes Bay Pinot Gris
Earl Grey smoked salmon on artichoke puree, and buttered broad beans paired with 2016 Chardonnay
Seared sirloin of beef, accompanied by a braised beef cheek pie, sundried tomato and basil polenta cake, with Bay leeks and carrots, and a red wine jus paired with 2016 Hawkes Bay Merlot; (R) Puhoi gourmet cheese selection, served with spiced walnut biscuit, honey comb, fruits, and roasted nuts paired wiht 2016 Pinot Noir reserve
