Last night our team had the pleasure of hosting a one-off event to celebrate the Manawatu Plate of Origin competition with the stunning Brookfields Winery.
A special showcase evening, highlighting the best produce from Manawatu and Whanganui, featuring a five-course menu.
Our next Wine Dinner will be on the 25 May, ‘Wines of the World’ hosted with Gavin Hubble, aka ‘the Wine Guy’ including wines from Argentina, France, Italy, Spain and Australia. Ticket details to be released closer to the event.
Spiced Prawn San chow bau served with 2015 Sauvignon Blanc
Herb crusted Rangitikei free range chicken thigh parcel, with a chicken jus
served with 2015 Chardonnay
Smoked ostrich fillet, with a petite salad and berry vinaigrette served with
2014 Merlot Cabernet
Coastal lamb shoulder, slow roasted and served on a bed of garlic mash, seasonal roast vegetables and a rich lamb jus served with 2015 Malbec
Cartwheel creamery “Blue Rhapsody” ricotta cheese cake, Rangitikei honey and poached apricot served with 2015 Indulgence Viognier
